A month of running and biking

“Let me ‘splain. … No, there is too much. Let me sum up.”  -Inigo Montoya, Princess Bride

I have been too busy to blog lately. That happens when you are working 60+ hour weeks, training for a marathon, training for a bike ride, involved with community events, and attempting to keep the house from looking like a wreck.

Bugman and I missed a few rides, too, since he was traveling on business and then caught a nasty cold.

Then, Bugman and I headed out on a weeklong bicycle journey in the greater Yellowstone area . . . blog coming on that saga – just trying to figure out whether I should do one mammoth blog post, or break it up by days.

In the meantime, here are some things I saw / experienced while running and biking in the past month …

My nemesis on morning runs: automatic sprinklers watering the sidewalks. Though there can be a benefit to them. I saw a little girl and her mom, arms up, doing the "crossing the finish line" pose. They were running through a sprinkler together.
